Two suns illuminated the planet without interruption, civilizations flourished, and entire generations lived without ever experiencing darkness. Then astronomers discovered the impossible. Within just 47 years, the twin suns would begin to separate, plunging the planet into 312 years of total darkness. What began as a desperate fight against an endless winter soon revealed something far more terrifying. Humanity had never been alone. Deep beneath the surface, an ancient civilization had been waiting for the return of the darkness for hundreds of thousands of years.
