In the year 3025, humanity no longer lives in a single world. Energy comes from the Sun. Minerals are extracted from asteroids. Millions of people are born inside vast cities suspended above Earth. For centuries, this seemed like humanity’s greatest achievement. Until distance began to change everything. What started as an economic expansion into space eventually created entirely new civilizations. On Earth, the Organics protected the human body and the privacy of the mind. In orbital habitats, the Humans of the Void adapted their bodies and connected their minds to the systems keeping their cities alive. Beyond Mars, the Post-Biologicals abandoned the body altogether and began existing as digital consciousness. Three human futures emerged from the same origin. Three different ideas of freedom, identity, family and what it truly meant to be human. But as orbital populations continued to grow, colonies demanded more energy and millions applied to the Transcendence Project, the infrastructure of the Solar System finally reached its limit.
