About

The 28th Shanghai International Film Festival (SIFF) is the only FIAPF-accredited 'A' category festival in China. It is held under the slogan 'Lights, Camera, Stories' and includes competition programs (Golden Goblet Awards), a film market, forums and screenings in over 50 cinemas in Shanghai and the Yangtze River Delta region. In 2026, the festival launched a new direction 'AI Backlot' in partnership with Hailuo AI to explore the possibilities of artificial intelligence in filmmaking.
